We have lots of patients
We deliver NHS primary care services across Merseyside and parts of Cheshire, covering 1.6 million residents. We serve 40,000 patients across 8 in-hours general practices, we provide GP out-of-hours services for 7 areas, clinical provision for 4 large intermediate care units, undertake health screenings and medical assessments for newly arrived asylum seekers in Liverpool and Halton, and provide the paediatric primary care streaming service at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. We also run the Clinical Advice Service in collaboration with our NHS 111 colleagues.
